Functional and decorative processes

ERNE surface AG offers for all surface treatment applications the matching

chemical processes. These are processes for pretreatment, drying, anti-tarnish etc.

Apart from the traditional decorative processes such as copper, nickel and chromium plating, ERNE surface AG has extensive know-how in precious metal coatings.

Another leading role is functional coatings, i.e. hard chromium and electroless

nickel. Furthermore, ERNE surface AG offers the wide variety of zinc, zinc-alloy coatings combined with the corresponding passivation and sealing systems – whenever excellent corrosion resistance is required.

Products for the electronics and PCB industry

The production of high tech PCB is a precise combination of various processes.

In addition to the classical processes, such as copper-plating, a wide range of other chemical applications are required. ERNE surface AG has a proven “package deal” for the demanding high-tech manufacturer – from pre-treatment, photo resists to the optimum final coating.

Blackening, phosphating anodizing

ERNE surface AG started back in 1936 with blackening (steel oxidation) in-house as well as supplying such processes to the industry.

Anodizing for technical, anticorrosion or decorative applications belongs to our standard processes and we do stock all required chemicals.
