ERNE surface AG - the Swiss leader in plating technology - was founded 1936 by Mr. F. Erne in Zurich. The one-man-company grew continuously. Today ERNE surface AG has over 50 motivated employees at two locations: near Zurich ZH in the German-speaking part of Switzerland; and at Avenches VD in the French part.

Through close cooperation with internationally leading chemical companies ERNE surface AG ensures most up-to-date technical and engineering know-how for the benefit of our clients. Own in-house laboratories and pilot plants guarantee fast and flexible customer requirements. ERNE surface AG's aim is to ensure a continous, sustained process and manufacturing ability for our customers.

Since 1998 ERNE surface AG is certified for top quality-processing by ISO 9001 standards. This system obliges ERNE surface AG to continuously improve processes, organization, logistics and training.
With respect to the environment ERNE surface AG was certified in 2002 with the ISO 14001 standard.
Both standards are audited regularly throug the Swiss technical ST organization.
